Best time I've ever had racing go-karts was at Driftland in Scotland. It was absolutely frigid by Florida standards, and also raining because it is Scotland. I was over there for a couple weeks after Christmas with a friend of mine who knew the Driftland guys, and they let us out on track for a long session after they

P1, RIP.

It looks the part. Now all they have to do is Not Fuck It Up.

Pretty sure he means entry-level sedan like "Altima" ($26k 270HP) and not base model specifics like "Altima 2.5". A non entry-level sedan would be something like the Maxima, BMW 328, Mercedes E class, or a Rolls Royce Phantom.

which illustrates the point well I think....FD is good, but it sure as shit is not drifting D1GP style. It's a loud, crass, overdone America Fuck Yeah! imitation.

More like D1GP is sashimi fresh off the boat at Tsukiji, and FD is a fat volcano roll at a random sushi place in New Jersey.

sad that I saw this question too late to suggest Taki, but I'm glad somebody did. When I first stumbled across his twitter feed I thought it was fake, then I did some searching and found that Taki Inoue really is that nuts.

Merge properly instead of either defending your territory from the invading hordes or participating in a frontal assault on traffic flow. If you're on the main road, then leave a 1 car gap available at the merge point to allow the next car in. If you're merging then scout out how many cars back in the main traffic

Bad Jalop here since I don't know the answer to this, but can somebody elaborate on this "electric steering" grievance? Is it actually steer by wire where there is no physical connection between the steering wheels and wheels, or just electric assist power steering.

Opel could always make one. Ze Germans still remember how to put the drive wheels on the correct end.

...just prior to his retirement from the sport 15 years later

To be clear, I'm just paraphrasing Mitt Romney there.

Why don't they just choose a double points race at random and put it in a sealed envelope that they don't open until the FIA awards banquet. That way nobody has any idea who the winner is until the season is over! Also, in the same fashion, take a random race, and award 100 points to whoever comes in 7th place. This

You left out the freeloading 53%. That skyrockets the "I pay taxes" share to $83. I think I made more than that off of the shares of GM I owned for a couple years.

That would be nice, except $12 billion / (.47*314 million) comes out to $81.31...so the corvette plan would be way more costly to tax payers.

He needs two of them though.

Now playing

I'm going to have to go with a quick clip of Jean-Phillipe Dayraut doing a backwards entry. If you watch him in these races, he does this every lap.

so, what did happen?

One in the same...VP Lewis is still around though.
