because...um...you don't have $157,000 to spend on Tesla shares right now?

You slid that one in under the radar

My e34 wagon still lives on + manual transmission. Sadly, I had to send her to another home to get the attention she deserves. After sitting for a what was probably a solid year, all it took was a little jump start to fire up and drive onto a trailer.

Wooo, thanks $kay...too bad my first q/cotd was under my at work burner account because social media policy

You think they would have learned after that whole fiasco a few years ago when a Chinese pilot crashed into an American surveillance plane and all the TV stations were saying the guy's name was "Wang Wei".

Were you really going to buy a current generation STI? What did you buy instead?

That would be more Toyota's fault than Subarus. The BRZ production volume is a fraction of the FR-S. If you couldn't find one locally that wasn't marked up, then you can always buy it somewhere else and drive it home. There are plenty of people who did that. If you're not going to reasonably commit to buying it before

Recent x-rays have revealed that instead of a human heart, Danny MacAskill has a gyroscope, so his bike-riding (standing?) really does depend on gyroscopic forces. How he remains alive is still a mystery science has yet to solve however.

Agreed. I'm going to have to find some way to make that happen.

So you were autobahing along, hit 240 km/h (which is basically 150 mph in real speed terms), and thought "whoah, there, nope...could get a blowout, so I'm not going any faster"?

Nothing worse than seeing an Ontario tag when you're driving through Orlando or near one of the coasts...which is pretty much anywhere in Florida. Either Ontario or the "je me souviens" plate that belongs to some province I forget. That means the vehicle is going to go 15 mph under the speed limit (I think they're

It's very similar to the old cartels in Miami. Everybody knew what they were up to, but nobody really cared because they brought in money for everybody and didn't cause a fuss. It was only after they started causing trouble for normal people that shit got real.

In what is likely to be an unpopular nomination, I would also like to bring up for consideration, the BRZ/FRS steering wheel. While not exactly ugly, would some stereo mode switches have killed them? The concept car had them.

The 350z wheel is the only one that comes to mind and hasn't been mentioned yet. It was just a big cheap plastic turd. I will add in my support for the 90s BMW wheel though. I had an e34 with one of those.

What are you talking about? All of those programs existed during "the great recession". Those programs existed when I was in elementary school, and my mom worked on a WIC-like program in the 60s. The impacts of these programs go far beyond dying of starvation, and programs like WIC in particular have massive benefits.

You need to review the source material for random shit you read on the internet. Here is the source material for "101 million people on food aid", http://www.usda.gov/oig/webdocs/27…

I think you're onto something....somewhere, somebody was thinking it would be a good idea to group the teams in the south

I got the same treatment when I walked into a "euro cars" dealership and wanted to test drive a used f355 they had in the showroom. The salesman was totally correct though.

I tried to play along and was pleasantly surprised when I ended up at Nissan Juke. I had to lie a little bit since I would never buy a UV. The only thing on here I've ever considered was an FJ, but it would've taken a few tries to get there.

Wow. At first I thought you were making that up (it looks like a fake german word an english speaker would create), but then google. Another point for the Germans.
