I asked the same thing. Apparently there were some ego conflicts between him and Snipes. Both men like themselves very much.

I tend to discount Spawn since the character, while purportedly Black and portrayed by a Black actor, never gets to be a “Black hero” - no human face, only a zombie face or masked face. He could be anyone... So, Spawn, for me at least, is an outlier.

I wouldn’t saw he was overlooked - but definitely underutilized. Why hire him for the role if he doesn’t get to do some cool shit? Where is my Donnie/Wesley hand-to-hand fight scene?

A lot of people didn’t know Blade was based off a comic book, just like a lot of people still act like Blade didn’t set this whole damn thing up. Billions of dollars later, and still neglected, even by people exalting how groundbreaking Black Panther is.

Hey, there were some Asians around that table, too! Don’t leave us out of the shadow government!

Criminally overlooked is Donnie Yen in Blade 2. I keep waiting for him to break in US films with a lead role - Rogue One was nice but he has just a small role in it

Blade- the villains were a group of white men sitting around a table ruling the world who held Blade with a mixture of fear and loathing. When they want to kill him? They send police officers...

How can you be deficient? There is an entire 24-hour period every year where TBS shows nothing but this movie.

Be... sure.... to... drink... your... Ovaltine!

Well said! “You are part of the Rebel Alliance and a traitor. Take her away!” 2 lines. 1 hand wave. Love that part!

If you assume episode IV takes place minutes after R1, Leia’s line makes no sense. But if you assume there’s a little time between them (even a few hours) it’s more plausible. The Tantive IV could’ve gotten away, Vader catches up, Leia says the line as Hail Mary, etc.

You’re forgetting the Leia doesn’t necessarily know what the viewer knows. There was, maybe, one rebel on that ship that actually saw Vader. Horror-movie Vader who massacred dozens of armed men in moments. Not a stretch to assume he’d be in shock, unable to properly communicate what he saw. Now Leia and the crew of

I actually really like the new timeline for Leia getting the plans followed by Vader catching her.

Ah, a gaming nerd and Star Wars nerd but not a Tolkien nerd, I see :P.

I didn’t mind the ending and have a few thoughts on it:

Dunno, if it's bs, but well there is it-

Good-looking white people play against their usual appearance all the time, to be specific.

Twilight actually did a decent job of casting non-white actors for smaller roles, particularly the other high school kids.

Didn't this movie come out a few years ago? I could have sworn I saw it with an all-Japanese cast.
