I don’t think watching people play video games is a generational thing within the video gaming community. Video games themselves are generational. I would guess there are very few 60-100 year olds that play video games, while there are tons of 10-40 year olds. You’re not going to like watching video games if you don’t

Nintendo is doubling down on 3 things, (1) motion controllers, (2) second screen controllers, and (3) portables. Number 1 was a successful novelty that has lost its novelty. Number 2 was a flop. Number 3 is still popular, but is being weighed down by 1 and 2. This seems like a losing equation.
