Also, if you have a loaded weapon in your vehicle and you are pulled over, the first thing you tell the officer is that you have a loaded weapon in your vehicle.

The Peugeot BA/10 5-speed used in the ‘87-’89 Wranglers with the 4.2 I6. Had terrible reliability and durability and is replaced by most if they do any other upgrades. It had the shortest run of any transmission used in a Jeep due to its reputation. I had it in mine and it worked alright, but mine was mostly stock.

I recently test-drove a ‘66 Olds Cutlass with the Super Turbine 300 2-speed automatic transmission.

If you are going to have a gun on your hip during a traffic stop, don’t then also be aggressive to the cops. He didn’t get killed just for having a gun. You also might have missed that the gun was on the floorboard, out of its holster, meaning he either unholstered his gun or had a loose gun available during the stop.

This went down the way it needed to. I am normally very critical of any killing at the hands of police but in this case it’s pretty black & white. This “Sovereign Citizen” was the aggressor and earned his Darwin award, full stop.

I’ve got a friend who was a County Patrol Officer in rural Alberta. He said every traffic stop was terrifying because there was a solid chance you were pulling over a “Freeman of the Land.” These are Canada’s version of Sovereign Citizens.

Even GM wouldn’t have bungled this whole thing quite so badly.”

One thing I’ve never quite understood is that this doesn’t appear to be an issue in other jurisdictions. Other countries made immobilizers required by law and so Hyundai/Kia put them in their vehicles elsewhere. Doesn’t the government bare at least some of the responsibility for not properly regulating automakers by

Too many deviations from stock to be worth the asking price (I see it’s too low, the exhaust is all sorts of screwed up, the radio, the steering wheel. Is that seat factory?) even if the mileage is to be believed. ND.

It’s Britain. They do a lot of things differently. They’re like the Alabama of Europe. (Russia would be the Florida, I think?)

Pretty sure that’s what it will end up being.

This is the answer. Also do away with the police unions. Police aren’t laborers and don’t produce anything, so they don’t need a union. The unions only serve to protect dirty cops.

Take it out of Police Pension funds. “Sorry, Officer Figpucker, but that guy you covered for a dozen times finally getting caught means no pension payout this year”, that’ll bring down that blue wall faster than you can say “Police Collusion”. ‘Cause that is the real problem, it isn’t just that individual “bad” cops

It’s time we make cops write checks from their personal accounts.

Now if you go back to the 70s...

Yep. Nobody saw that coming...

Look out for the windows, too. Stay on the first floor as much as possible!

Haha, yeah Mr. Prigozin made a mistake flying in Russian airspace

In fairness  - if I’m visiting Putin in Russia - I’m developing a fear of flying and taking the train too.

usually no.
