The TH425 is essentially a fwd version of the bulletproof TH400 transmission. It's a great choice so long as you don't launch it hard enough to snap the chain.

As someone who experienced the dark ages Cadillacs, I’ll defend the modern ones. They’re comfortable, quiet and make enough power to move with authority. Haven’t tried the black wing version yet, but I did try a used CTS-V once. That was a good car. Even better when the salesman in the back seat says “open it up a bit”
