Tesla is an established company still trying to keep a startup mentality. And surprise surprise, it won't work. There's a reason that most startups change out management after a certain point. It's to get rid of the "visionary" and put actual adults in charge. Hopefully when the polygon truck bombs it'll be the

Let’s see. List of highest selling cars in history. There’s the Model T, nope not luxury. The Beetle, nope also not luxury. The Corolla, nope that’s a dishwasher, and the Lada. Hmmm, there seems to be a trend here.

I see your NBC fiasco and raise you a consumer reports Suzuki Samurai. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suzuki_Motor_Corp._v._Consumers_Union_of_the_U.S.,_Inc.

So, who wants to help me stuff one in the middle of a Dodge B250/ B350 work van?

Not to mention in the time it took for Tesla to announce and "release” the cyber truck, Rivian released both the R1S and the R1T.

so here's the interior photo from Vinfasts site and I honestly don't hate it. The screen isn't gigantic, there are proper buttons for heating, lights, wipers and looks like the radio.

Couldn't agree more. If the Gladiator sales are anything to go by, people still want their trucks to be able to actually be trucks. And the gladiator is based off an already successful platform.

Every day Demolition Man becomes more and more relevant

(Channels Jeremy Clarkson) British cars have class and sophistication. That’s why people buy land rovers. I mean, they can climb any mountain and ford any stream. When they work.

Another poster touched on this with the XJ, and he's right, but I'd go so far as to say any Jeep. CJ7? Overpriced. Old Wagoneer? Overpriced. Even the YJ which used to be the redheaded step child of Jeeps is overpriced now. Guys posting jeeps in my area with bad frames for over 3K and people are actually buying them!

Well, that combined with the fact that it's a 4 door truck with a tiny bed. Make a 2 door version and make the bed usable. Sales will go up.

Someone else chimed in, asking, “Will he slap a blackberry on top of my iPhone too?” It's been tried. It was called the Typo keyboard. And surprise! It wasn't as good as the blackberry keyboard.

Okay someone here needs to buy this, and I’ll donate a Northstar and a 4T80E. I'll even fab up the exhaust and motor/ transmission mounts.

Looks like the project is on hold. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_Castle_Project

Seriously. R/G colorblind here and that map hates me.

Early 80s Cadillac. Specifically with the 4100. Why? Because 135 HP and 190 lb-ft of torque. And when the head gaskets fail and wipe the entire motor, you'll be stuck with a land yact not worth putting another motor into, because the crappy plastic interior door handles are falling apart and the climate control has

Admiral is right. The way to actually keep a rotary running is to just mix up 2 stroke gas for it. Disable the motor oil injection, and just run it on 40:1 2 stroke.

Want to see a shady dealer squirm? "Can we put it on a lift?" Is a good start. Follow it up with "hang on, let me grab my code reader". I've had a few salesman sweating this way, and some outright deny even having a lift.

A Tesla product coming years late, over budget and not as advertised?

A glass roof in general seems like a bad standard. If someone wants a glass roof it should be an option, but generally speaking it seems to be a bad idea. Heavier, more breakable and the heat/sun factor.
