There you go. Classic Monty Burns as a Howard Hughes spoof
Sorry $kaycog they don’t do that anymore.
The Curtis Wright Museum in Hammondsport NY is also worth a stop if your in the area. Quite a few vintage bikes, cars and a lot of planes and engines.
I feel this comment. I've owned 2 AMC Eagles and 3 Oldsmobile Auroras. Drivetrain parts were a piece of cake. But body parts and wierd interior parts? Oof.
Check out the ad. Apparently it has a 4.6 and a 5 speed. Damn. If memory serves me right being an 81 it's full time 4X4.
Red Green colorblind here. Can confirm that we have this power.
Buggati type 32. Yes it was early days, but you can't deny this thing is hideous.
Ah yes the 4100. The pressed in cylinder engine that likes to mix oil and coolant like an engine cocktail. Iron heads on an aluminum block. And that sexy sexy TBI. There's a photo somewhere of a dealer with blown 4100s stacked up like cordwood. But at $1400 you could always do an engine swap. It's not a desirable…
Before Netscape closed up shop, they spun off the web browser into another company called Mozilla. Also known as the Firefox team. If memory serves me right, the last few versions of Netscape were based off Firefox, which in turn was an improved version of older Netscape.
Former Eagle wagon owner here. Nah. Anything clean will be overpriced, anything rusty will have unibody issues. Protip, to test if the unibody on an Eagle is any good, crawl under the front fender behind the front tire and find the seam. Take a screwdriver and firmly tap along that seam. If the screwdriver goes…
Nah moving a kid to college makes sense with the wrangler. Because you can actually perform the long lost art of towing a trailer without a gigantic truck.
Surprise, the billionaire who’s been anti union for years, violated several labor laws and is also doing it right now at Twitter is anti union. Who would have guessed.
Agreed. I've seen a lot of Tesla's (work is a charging station), been in a few of them and they're not what I would call luxury. I would put the best optioned interior somewhere between Ford and Buick. And the rear seats on the model 3 are downright uncomfortable.
The factory mufflers. Seriously, I’ve owned 3 Auroras and every time I remove the rear mufflers. Why? Because GM, in their infinite wisdom, goes from 2 1/2 before the cat convertor, to 2 1/4 at the resonator, to a Y that splits into 2 2" pipes. But apparently they weren't done because the internals of the mufflers…
1956 Ferrari Superamerica 410. Designed by Ghia for Ferrari. It's a prime example of what not to do on a sports car. Look at it!
Oldsmobile Toronado wagon by Ferrari.
Sure why not. Distant cousins though. The 3800 was an evolution of the odd fire Buick V6. To create the V6, Buick literally lopped 2 cylinders off. Thus the firing pattern became 45 45 90 45 45 90. Then Jeep bought the tooling, AMC bought Jeep, GM bought the tooling back in the 70s, bored it out to 231, made a new…
The Rover V8 is just a Buick V8 with some British bits on top of it. To increase the reliability, remove the Britishness.
The mini is cool, but I think the Suzuki was better.
