Anyone else starting to wonder if Tesla is on the downswing?

The panther is small? Since when? My 2 well over 6 ft kid brothers both fit in mine no problem. Is the space used 100% efficiently? Probably not. But it's not bad at all

Still seems odd that VW owns Scout when IH still exists. But that's what a buyout gets you I guess.

Holy cow do I feel for the AMC guy. My father owned 83 Eagle, 81 Eagle, 70 something Hornet, 82 Spirit, 84 Jeep XJ, 85 Eagle and 82 Eagle. I could literally tune an AMC I6 from memory before I got my learners permit.

Exactly. Elon is the CEO of several companies. Tesla, Boring company, SpaceX/starlink and now neurolink. Let's say he splits his 72 hours a week between them evenly. That's 18 hours a week. So being a CEO is easy enough to be done on less than 20 hours a week? And remember, he's doing this with every single tool at

Family Guy still wins with a wooden wagon and horse exploding after going off the road. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=XY5Q9ELxCrI

Nope. Both my 82 Cutlass and my grandmothers 87 Cutlass had amazing seats. Now my mother's 2 fullsize Cadillacs with the split bench seats? That's a whole different story.

Bad manwich bad! You don't put a stereo in a car that costs more than the car is worth! Also 900 watts? At full power that's 75 amps. That's a huge draw for a Festiva.

Okay here goes. My Blue on Blue Aurora is Elvis. My CVPI was named Bacon. My AMC Eagle was Freebird. My Jeep XJ was named Lizzy (not sure why). My Red Aurora was named Ticket. And my Gold Aurora was called either Goldie or Snubnose. 2nd gen Auroras were shorter.

I sure hope not! I've owned 2 of them.

Ill defend the Fiero and the Delorean slightly. The Fiero was kneecapped by GM so it wouldn't be faster than the Corvette. So the iron Duke was crowbared in. As for the Delorean, I believe it was supposed to have a different engine as well, but it didn't work out.

Good catch. The one shown looks like either a 82-84 SDV or Fleetwood. Also came with the 4100 and it was hot garbage. Except in the full size cars the engine was shoved waaaay back against the firewall and the fan shroud was nearly 2 feet long. Not an exaggeration, I measured.

354 is definitely an odd size for an AMC V8. Distributor is in the correct spot though, so if I had to guess I'd say 390 bore combined with the 343 crank. Also bit of trivia. All AMC crankshafts are forged. Due to the lower volume of V8 sales compared to other manufacturers, there was no reason for AMC to develop a

Aww man and all this time I've been using laptops.

Agreed. I don't mind a small screen in the center console. But if given the choice between giant screen or no screen at all, no screen please and thank you. Also stop making the entire roofline out of glass.

Remember the size of the car, the speed and the fact that they're first generation disc brakes. Early ones didn't release as well as modern calipers.

“the film is just me in front of a brick wall for an hour and a half. It cost 80 million dollars to make"

Have to say, if given the chance to buy this, I’d own it. Then tear down the engine, new seals everywhere and inspect every section of that V6, have the trans rebuilt and resealed, go through the rest with a fine tooth comb then drive the hell out of it. Because that's what this car was designed for. Yes I would "lose

Looks to be late teens judging by the cowl lights. Electric start?
