372hp in my A8L gets the job done right. As does the 268hp in my RAV4, since it’s a lot lighter.

Eight foot cheater bar, a 5-lb sledge and a LARGE bolt to hit with the sledge are THE most important tools to own. Haynes and Chiltons manuals refer to these as “a short extension bar”, “a rubber mallet” and “a brass drift”.
Polaris Ranger. Not sure the HP, but I believe around 40. Can go absolutely anywhere.
Freelancing is EXTREMELY hard and extremely worthwhile, even if you don’t make it. The education you get can be a goldmine.
I bought a 1964 Unimog radio truck, and with the help of a Sawzall converted it into a flatbed. I also fabricated all of the impossible to buy pieces to convert it from manual steering to hydraulic.
Unimog is the same as the Deuce and a Half. I drove mine 60 miles one day (to a car show and back) on twisty roads and vowed never to do that bullshit again. Offroad is even challenging until you rip out the goddamned manual steering and replace it with hydraulics.
What. the. fuck? If college is supposed to prepare these kids for the NFL, they should be PAID. Hell, they should be paid anyway, for the amount of money these players make for their schools.
You’re not routing actual traffic through it - ONLY DNS requests, which are the requests that turn names into IP addresses.
The two cars you picked would make sense if you lived AT a JLR dealer so you would always have a loaner available.
Herb Dean is a horrible ref. I submitted a complaint about him a while back via the UFC web site but never heard anything back. He seems to not be very interested in the fights, and too often misses the fact that a fighter is out. Personally, I don’t know how they continue to let him referee.
I’m sorry, but the pictures seem to provide almost no information whatsoever. They’re very artistic, but not good at all for presenting a car for purchase. This is just my opinion, which is often very, very wrong, but I disliked every single picture from the perspective of “what does the car actually look like”.
Stop pre ordering ALL THE THINGS!
“Clipped”??? Stonkin NAILED him.
If you’ve hurt yourself and need one NOW, go to WalMart and get one of these: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Smart-Temp-… They are awesome.
“It just works.” At some point, everyone has to acknowledge that this is a wonderful thing, unless you just enjoy bugging the crap out of your more responsible friends when your car won’t start.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! As you discovered, it makes sense THEORETICALLY, but it really doesn’t once you get into the real world of the U.S. of A. Hell, in Europe, I love small, base-model, manual transmission vehicles of all types. They just make sense. But here, that’s just not the case at all. We’ve got…
Hell, thanks for the rant. Now I know. Party on, Garth.
I think a much better headline would be “Teenager with very wealthy parents who bought or built an amazing buggy won...”. Really. I’m happy that a girl participated in and won a male-dominated event. However, these are, IMO, 90% machine and 10% driver, and she has been given an amazingly capable and expensive machine.…
