Eh, I’d pay the extra cost for PHEV. 25 miles doesn’t sound like much, but it covers my entire commute and solves the issue of range anxiety with a full EV. People often pay that much extra for a diesel engine option. A large onboard inverter like the F150 Hybrid would make the extra cost a no brainer.

Yeah, for most autos it’s unnecessary. The one for the DSG on the VW is actually quite nice. It’s not needed, but it’s fun to use when I’m in the mood. Oddly enough, I never use the paddle shifters and only use the floor shifter. The paddle shifters are annoying when turning.

TFRs are used for fire fighting aircraft operations. Drones can fly in national forests, so long as if it’s not in a national park, wilderness, or TFR area under a TFR. Drones aren’t allowed in the wilderness for the same reason vehicles aren’t allowed.

That’s a great question. One thought is that there’s sometimes environmental fees for these types of situations, but given that it’s intentional, that can result in some hefty fines from the EPA.
