Even the trim itself is valuable these days. I’d be happy to make some wood trim for Tesla at a discounted rate.

Lol gross. By the time the DPF needs to be cleaned on the 2013 and up Cummins, the 6.4 is on its second rebuild.

Eh, the main reason for that was because Ford didn't design their diesel to be serviceable. Fleet managers are loving the 6.7 Cummins because it's reliable, and when there is issues, you don't have to lift the body from the chassis to service it.

I’ve been very happy with them as well. It seems like they allow their brands to continue running as their own business units, but give them the big resource pool. I also like that for their cheaper tool brands(Hart and Ryobi)are often using decent old legacy parts instead of cheap motors built specifically for DIY

Overbuilding one road will result in fewer roads getting the repairs that are needed today.

To be fair, the company that bought Hoover combined the Hoover HQ with the HQ for Oreck in Charlotte. Then they built a large factory in Tennessee. People had similar concerns when the same company bought Milwaukee. In the last year alone, they announced building a new HQ in Milwaukee, and new plants in Mississippi

Usually when people think about Canada, they typically think about the culture around some of the big Canadian cities. But like the US, life is a bit different when you get out into the country. An example is Listowel, which isn’t even that far out in the country compared to other towns. The show Letterkenny is based

The upside about Canadurp is that they help identify those who can’t drive. They give them special plates that say Alberta.

That’s actually a pretty good deal and those are pretty good tools. The DCF887 is being replaced by the DCF850, but it’s still a tried and true work horse impact driver. And that impact wrench is actually phenomenal, it usually runs for 200 dollars tool only.

For what it’s worth, Oilberta has always been like that.

Yikes. Imagine wearing that in a hot and humid shop in Florida and being told to try not to sweat.

Thank you for pointing that out. The local reporting definitely needs the credit it deserves. I fear the day when local reporters lack the resources needed to attend or review the minutes of a zoning meeting.

This. I definitely don’t miss trying to thaw out a frozen door lock.

Eh, I’d pay the extra cost for PHEV. 25 miles doesn’t sound like much, but it covers my entire commute and solves the issue of range anxiety with a full EV. People often pay that much extra for a diesel engine option. A large onboard inverter like the F150 Hybrid would make the extra cost a no brainer.

Yeah, for most autos it’s unnecessary. The one for the DSG on the VW is actually quite nice. It’s not needed, but it’s fun to use when I’m in the mood. Oddly enough, I never use the paddle shifters and only use the floor shifter. The paddle shifters are annoying when turning.

TFRs are used for fire fighting aircraft operations. Drones can fly in national forests, so long as if it’s not in a national park, wilderness, or TFR area under a TFR. Drones aren’t allowed in the wilderness for the same reason vehicles aren’t allowed.

That’s a great question. One thought is that there’s sometimes environmental fees for these types of situations, but given that it’s intentional, that can result in some hefty fines from the EPA.

The cover up charges are often worst than the original charges. Given the poor decisions he made so far, it wouldn’t be surprising if he made even more.

This, very well said. I tried semi-hypermiling on the commute and found that it’s actually quicker. Timing the lights so you roll through them when they turn green often resulted in passing the ones who race to the red light.
