In an area like that, time in the market is greater than timing the market. Prices will likely fall some in less desirable locations, but not at places where people want to live.

We do have structural inflation due to overstimulation and supply shortages.

This. Especially since these are old brushed tools that have been taking up space in the warehouse. That drill was DeWalt’s consumer drill from a decade ago, it’s not worth paying pro tool prices for that thing.

Of the one that’s being proposed near me, it’s the local residents that don’t want it. It’s possible that some companies are paying someone to show up to a public forum or to write to the state for public comment, but a good chunk of the residents near the location don’t want an open pit mine near their creeks and

This. And even when they added AdBlue, they continued cheating in order to reduce the frequency needed to fill it up. And that’s likely why they’re talking about NOx reduction through the 1990's technique of dropping the injection timing(increases PM and regeneration frequency), something that’s not needed if they

However, the university researchers found that NOx emissions can be reduced by 20 percent with retarded injection timing

I thought about getting the app, but the reviews aren’t all to inspiring. Maybe I’m wrong, or maybe an update will correct this, but it sounds like it lacks auto detection.

I own a 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 4 door 4x4, 5 speed with a Cummins diesel engine. I bought this truck brand new and outside of regular maintenance have only had to change out the water pump. It’s my daily driver in sunshine and in snow, took my kids to school and me to work everyday without complaints. It’s getting long

The removable top will be removable for the first two years, it'll then require an 8 dollar subscription after 2 two years.

Yeah, they definitely misspoke. They're investing more than a billion dollars for the battery plant near Asheboro, NC.

This is assuming they aren’t trying to crank up production. Cummins is trying to get their products out, but are experiencing the same issues everyone else is, supplier shortages. Their purchasing departments are scrambling to find solutions for all the various shortages in their inventory. The recent interview with

Your ideas intrigue me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

Your concerns about the extension cord are valid. Judging by the way that cable is flexing so easily around the window trim, I fear that’s the common Home Depot 16 gauge extension cord. I’d rather see a 12 gauge cable at that length.

That’s bigger than the main tank in my 9,000 lb truck. I wonder how it handles with a full tank.

25 is likely realistic out of the modern 2.7. The fuel injected one you’re referring to is likely a very old school TBI system and is comparable to late ‘80s to early ‘90s GM tech. On Fuelly, 2.7 Silverados are hitting up to 23 on the highway, with a few outliers hitting 25.

It’s a good question. Reality is that there’s too many impurities to remove, the process is too inefficient.

Exactly this. Or they’ll sell a rebranded Furrion camera system for an insane amount. I’ve used Furrion, it’s nice, but it’s not a replacement for mirrors. Especially since trailers have the worst wiring imaginable and they can lose power at any time.

It might not be a massive market, but there’s a decent amount of people who want one. I know a few people who think it’s going to be the best truck and ask if I’ll get one. I try not to cringe and just nod my head and agree.

Good point on the 3G. I just received a 4G adapter for my truck from Stellantis. I’m not happy about having an adapter sticking out, but I’m glad they did something instead of just telling me to buy a new truck to get the features back or go pound sand.

Correct. Manufactures are able to choose between no SCR, but they usually use EGR or timing reduction to create less NOx, but then need to run a DPF due to the excess PM. Or they can run more advanced timing and SCR without a DPF. That’s of course providing if they meet the Tier 4 emission standards with that
