Depends on the jurisdiction and the circumstances. If it’s truly an accident and not preventable, then they don’t usually don’t charge the person(tax payers are basically paying for it) being rescued. No need to remove the cab. There’s rubber gromets above the firewall as access holes to pull the head studs. Takes around 3-5 hours to remove the engine. If you struggle with clearance, loosening the cab mount and lifting the cab an inch or so is more than enough.
