I’m with you on this. The point I’m trying to make is that the studies are well-formulated toward determining that the same number of hits are deadlier. Yes, accident rates are going up for any number of reasons. That’s nothing to do with this study. 

Bruh. Before you blow off a study, learn what’s being studied and why those numbers matter. The study isn’t about the rate of pedestrian hits, it’s the rate of deaths in the same number of hits. Sampling the same number of hits, they're more deadly.
