I feel like this is an American thing, where we can't ever buy anything and know the final price beforehand.

They’re teaching on a reservation in BFE. There's likely a subsidy. Same goes for nursing. You can get paid pretty well for taking the crap locations nobody wants.

Amazon and facebook are my no-flys. I buy all my hobby stuff online. Built a new house and furnished it completely online. Booked services, took vacations, etc etc.

Sounds like you’re advocating for a teamsters’ union.

If humans are constantly at the business of self-extermination, we must be very shit at it, because despite the fact that we reptoduce at a very low relative rate, we’ve completely overrun this joint.

I've said it before: you can't work for a million dollars.

If there's one thing we can lay at the boomers' feet, it's how many entitled, unemployed jerkoffs they left behind.

I left a facility that was falling apart for a newly built surgical rehab. It’s glorious. Slate-walled fireplace in the lobby, everything new, it’s great. The old facility is shedding staff like crazy. Manager is pulling 16 hour days.

The wife and I are taking the train up to Glenwood Springs for a few days. We didn’t take any breaks all through the pandemic (healthcare workers) and while the house was being built. We could use it.

Your hint is hard to google. Care to cure my ignorance? I’d appreciate it, and I applaud your diligence. What was being voted on? Your numbers suggest it was a senate vote.

Yep. I'm about to pull the trigger on 0.9% for 72 months. I don't carry a car loan currently, have 10% to put down, and will drive it untill the wheels fall off.

See that's nuts. I've used the "Juan buys junk cars" fliers nailed to a post guys and got 300 bucks for shit they had to flatbed away.

I currently live in the Denver metro area. One of my Florida friends said he was having fun on some hills the other day. I laughed. "The highest point in Florida is like 300 feet. I do more than that on my commute."

Perhaps I missed that detail, but just because they only recently got thier license doesn’t mean they haven’t driven. Besides, if they don’t make it a habit now, they’re unlikely to want to take on later.*

A lie spreads halfway around the world while the truth is still putting its pants on.

I'm almost certain that the Scotts are the pale blue people. The rest tracks though.

J/o motion is the only appropriate response to this bullshit.

Having an engine blow up in your face to attract a mate? Sounds more like a Darwin Award: taking yourself out before you have the chance to reproduce.

Right? My wife paid cash for her jeep and had to split it into 2 bank drafts.

And then there's you... gleefully diving into demonstrating your ignorance all day every day. Classic JBT.
