(D) Don’t split the bill... Our friends were ordering 2x or 3x the drinks, large-sized beers and/or ordering shrimp and scallops (versus the chicken) whenever they assumed we were splitting the bill. We just couldn’t keep up with how unfair it was getting. Avoid this mathematical mess altogether and get the credit

To be fair, who hasn’t wanted to throw children into the trash?

AND - all the parks raise their prices (tickets) within days or even hours of each other. Keeps the bitching of the non-cultists to a dull roar.

Pre-gaming is not limited to college or concerts.  Pre-game and get your buzz on before going out, then your wine bill will be cheaper (and you are ok with cheaper wines), plus you will have some fullness and won’t order extra appetizers or entrees.

Drink beer. Save money! One of my dearest friends and I go out to dinner sometimes. She drinks wine and sometimes martinis. I drink beer. Her bill is always significantly higher than mine.

The best part is that in the end, it’s probably a win for us either way - we’ll likely get a cool VR world thing (but probably not made by Meta, someone else will sweep in and do it properly) and with any luck we get to see the demise of easily the most morally bankrupt bottom-feeder software megacorp as it’s burned

But there’s something especially funny about this in particular”

They all suck so fucking much. They’re like modern plantation owners- a bunch of talentless pretty much 100% white rich dudes playing with each other off the backs of the labor of black men. I am so glad I’m not interested in football so I have one less thing to feel guilty about supporting. It’s bad enough that baby

She is correct that this film can give people the impression that all obese people are miserable but this was a play based on an obese man’s personal experience. We need to be able to tell all the stories, and this is one of them.

My response to right wingers complaining about all the nepotism that Hunter Biden benefits from is “Wake me up when Joe adds him to the Cabinet and sends him to fix the Middle East.”

Maybe if Hannity’s father had loved him half as much, he wouldn’t have grown up like he did.

Although I am not and never was politically aligned with Hannity, I absolutely lashed out and insulted people who had loving fathers. I’d mock them and tell them it was all for show and dads only acted that way because Obama made fatherhood fashionable. I couldn’t cope with the fact that other people didn’t have

I’ve been wondering the same thing for a while.  I just don’t get it.  Taxes???  The same topic the orange piece of shit wouldn’t come clean on?  Nepotism?  Jesus Fucking H Christ, there’s no more model of nepotism than the fucking Trumps.

Especially considering the very public and tragic history Biden has with his family: his wife and one year old daughter died in 1972 and his son Beau died in 2015. You have to be an absolute monster to mock a parent who has already buried two children who is concerned for his only living son as he is struggling with

I can’t imagine the kind of sad asshole you’d have to be to hear that and think “lol what a loser”.

I don’t know how any sane, compassionate person could listen to that voicemail and think it was a scandal, but then we’re talking about Fox News.

You’d think the “wants to see Taylor Swift thrown into traffic” audience alone would bring in some big numbers.

Maybe it’s just me, but this seems like a nothing story.

Yeah, that just sounds like her sense of humor that she’s flashed in past interviews.

On one hand, the industry and culture around young celebrities can be cruel.
