Now that pretty much the entire game industry is delayed your work here is done.

You have done amazing work here Jason. I’m sorry to see you go, but am looking forward to your new ventures!

This comment... is perfect.

the sequel to IV was awful

Well first of all, I warned you not to scroll down here! Tons of people in Europe and Australia have been playing the game for over a week and some have even asked me to give them a place on Kotaku to talk about the ending, which is worthy of discussion. So here is that place.

Oh man, I LOVED Legend of Dragoon!
(I don’t remember that specific part, but I’m old and haven’t replayed it since it came out)

I genuinely hope Jason is right, and the other installments are essentially new games. Personally, I’m in the (admittedly small) camp that thinks Crisis Core is the better game than FFVII in

she needed to put something up on TikTok that day”

“Perfect Storm”—- Ohhhkk. Whatever you want to call your cleavage. Good on her for keeping up the momentum, but a spade is a spade.

I’m officially too old to “get” streamer culture. Like I get it, but I don’t “get” it.

How in the world is nobody else noticing that the kid with the glasses is obviously your sweet baby brother and thirty under thirty media luminary Griffin McElroy?

Nothing more intimidating then a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles shirt.

It’s not just games either. It’s any software development.

We can only hope...

I cannot objectively nor subjectively find the combat system of XIII to be at least pleasing...
A race against time for having the skill of selecting menu choices and paradigm shifts while auto attacking.
At least with a gambit system similar to XII’s, it could’ve become a deep and satisfying combat system.
Therefore

Is this sarcasm?

I have no idea whether the cancelation is good news or bad news, but it bums me out as a StarCraft fan - what this means is that AFAIK there’s nothing StarCraft-related in development right now. Hopefully the Warcraft 3 remake sells gangbusters and convinces Blizzard that RTS games are worth supporting again.

When the entire army retreats back at the end from him despite him being impaled with hundreds of arrows has to be the most badass moment in film
