Berklee absolutely ruins young guitar players, no idea why.

"The stuff from the first two albums is so much better with Bruce singing"

Damn man, that is 20 years of available memory you're never getting back.

Golden Earring formed in 1961! And everyone in the current lineup has been there since 1970. That's mind boggling.

He seems to be trying pretty hard to redeem himself, but I'm not sure it will take. He can certainly play, but what he chooses to play still doesn't do it for me.

The best late 80's/early 90's rag was Option and they must have had 20 pages of very short reviews in the back. I'd end up with a list of 25+ records every issue.

I saw them on the first tour (night before the Body Count record dropped), when Ice did one set of his stuff, then a break, then Body Count. The energy got sucked out of that room so fast it was amazing. However, Ice did sing Cop Killer to a room absolutely lined with cops (God only knows what the Roseville PD was

The rating is ridiculous, but he's not wrong.

And Tim Powers did it better with his Fisher King Trilogy as well.

I grew up in W. Germany in the 70's and Asterix was everywhere, in multiple languages. Not sure I ever found a Valerian that wasn't in French.

But Linda Ronstadt could actually sing.

I always assumed he was busy stalking Lena Dunham.

Every single person I was watching with went "Bullseye? Fuck yes!" And there was much rejoicing. That was a a bullshit fake out. It's like having Davos randomly spray webbing all over.

I thought it was Bullseye for a minute actually.

Piledriver?

I haven't heard a set of 901s made past the 70's, but they still make them. If you like the Bose sound and don't mind eq'ing they can sound pretty great. I was always a Klipsch guy myself though.

Eh, a balanced (read:deadlocked) court is far from the worst thing if it keeps the idiocy of politicians of all stripes in check. The less any of those bastards actually get accomplished the better off we all are.

I think it's fine. All these Marvel shows suffer from over expectations, but this is fairly faithful. Danny Rand was always kung fu (comics) Green Arrow. It's funny, with Daredevil everyone is going "Why no courtroom? Too many boring nijas" and here it's "Not enough boring ninjas and too much boardroom"

Danny Rand was a white guy to begin with because Marvel premiered a shit load of martial arts characters at the time, and he was the white guy. In fact, he and the white guy from Sons of The Tiger were the ONLY white guys, everyone else was of color.

My wife watches NCIS and I've never even seen a boat when I shuffle through the room to grab another beer.
