Speaking of the Wu, they are playing 10 minutes from me on Sunday. crap venue, but i might check it out if the tour has been good. Anyone caught them lately?

I'm not sure Jim Brown could have made it through filming without straight up murdering JMV though.

They have been great every time I've seen them except that 2 night 69 Love Songs show. I saw it at GAMH in SF and it dragged.

I saw them do 69 Love Songs the same way and I'm not gonna lie, that show DRAGGED. I saw them twice more on that tour and both "normal" (though no older material at all which sucked) shows were tighter and better.

Dude was a fighter pilot,as hard as that is to believe. So, yeah, the extremely dumb thing is at least partially an act.

Niche movies gonna niche. Not going to lie, I have zero interest in Moonlight myself. Granted, this year I have no interest in any of the nominated films but still.

I live pretty close to her spot in Irvine, but i screwed around and didn't go before this season started and now might have to wait a year or so for shit to die down.

The Bends and Rainbows are the only albums of theirs I like honestly. But I grew up on prog and avante garde so they were just another derivative third or fourth gen band to me. I think they made a mistake turning their backs on their pop tendencies.

Oh man, Green caused a huge hipster backlash at the time. That was my jumping off point for sure, but it was still shocking to hear how bad Automatic was.

I've always felt that way too and I got on board with Queen II.

Hell, they lost me AT OK Computer. I liked The Bends well enough, but I grew up on Prog, so OKC was as lame as Operation:Mindcrime.

As long as that anthology is Eponymous that is.

Man, it's easy. They don't sound like the same band.Some of us are old and had been listening since the beginning. They lost me at Green, and Out of Time was the final nail in the coffin. I find Automatic completely unlistenable.

I shop there for work and I can be in and out in under 10 minutes. Look up the aisle and bin number online, go in thru customer service. Never go upstairs.

Also: many "fixies" are actually single speeds,i.e. a freewheel.
