Now, I didn't actually watch this show, but are you saying Leary's character didn't bang at least one implausibly young and hot lady per episode (or at least arc)? See, this is the kind of thing I would bet significant money on, knowing there's almost zero chance of losing,then I'd lose.
Well, Leary already did cop and firefighter and he needed a premise where he could cast a bunch of super hot chicks for him to have sex scenes with. Since there's no way he could pull off "successful" or "rich as shit" believably, it was pretty much musician, artist or author and those last 2 ain't flying.
