@Smitty: I agree wholeheartedly that, if pilots decide to do evil, it is irrelevant what devices pilots bring on board once they have control of the airplane.

@AreWeThereYeti: I COULD ask for an evolution of the "Kin Studio," a one stop shop kind of thing with all of my media, documents, contacts, calendar, etc. drag and dropped from a desktop app, the web, or my phone, and synced across all my devices and in the cloud.

@V@no: You sure about that? Using the generic, catch-all Live Essentials 2011 installer, I had the option to individually un-check what I didn't want upgraded/installed. It let me choose to update both Mesh and Outlook Connector without messing with anything else.

Live Mesh has been unbelievable for a free service. I sync the folder with all of my class notes and projects between my desktop, my laptop, and my SkyDrive, and it updates any changes across all three in what feels like real time. I always have access to my files and I never have to worry about which version of

@MrRainMan: Well, HP doesn't provide for time calculations at all, even in Windows 7. Luckily I found out about BatteryBar:

@Harrison Jackson: In using the browser, though, you have to search for a movie, click on the result, THEN determine whether it is instant-watchable. I assume that on the 360 (after the update) you're only searching a database of movies that are instant-watchable. I HOPE that's how it is, at least.

@bg-dez: That was my first thought when Xbox and ESPN first announced the partnership - I can pick up ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, etc. over the air via antenna to my computer tuner card and watch through Media Center on my 360, too.

@Aaron Crabtree: Good point! We've seen one picture "slid-out", and only to about 1/6 of the width of the phone.

I don't know much about the fashion trends in Wisconsin but, if I was going around stealing stuff in broad daylight, I'd wear something a little less conspicuous than the jort-clashing dress shoe-white socks combo.

@arozzi: I laughed hysterically the entire time I saw Bruno in the theatre, EXCEPT FOR that scene, during which I could only feel pain and misery on behalf of Ron Paul

My wardrobe is almost exclusively Polo because a) through Macy's, Polo Factory Outlets, and places like Marshall's, I've never paid over $40 for a shirt, be it short- or long-sleeved, b) the Polo polo is appropriate for a wide range of situations - it can be worn with jeans, khakis, or shorts, tucked in or left out,

@gerrrg: Yeah, but earthquakes aren't really an issue for everybody, like those of us in DC, for example, so... oh, wait...

@plesiosaur: No, you're right - a coil mattress is a coil mattress. You need a boxspring or slats if you use a bed frame so that the mattress can sit in the frame without sagging/bending down and falling through (or if you want your mattress up higher)

@pranthin8or: I think that's about the sixth time I've seen that GIF posted on Giz this week alone - let's not let Citizen Kane become the next Pedobear, now.

@\m/ chaosphere \m/: It reminds me of some of the guys over at AVSforum - the fact that there is ALWAYS an "upgrade" to be made is an self-admission in itself that audio "perfection" is unattainable.

@MikeWas: But long glass is expensive! And long!
