I signed up yesterday after seeing this on FatWallet and was validated within about two minutes - it should definitely make ordering my textbooks much less of a hassle

@ACEACEACE: And how are those Android apps going to do me any good on my future Windows Phone?

@flux: I first thought the same thing but then realized that, if every individual frame has the waxy effect, it more than likely will look like that in running movie form, too.

I used to frequent Gizmodo for new laptop announcements, or to see how Thanko could top itself with an even more ridiculous USB peripheral than the one from the week before.

@SBM_from_LA: I can't believe that I'm name-dropping Kohlberg for the second time in one day, but:

@drewkkake: After actually reading the article (which I should have done before commenting), in fairness to Ebert, he does end up saying that he shouldn't have commented on video games without having adequately EXPERIENCED them - that he realizes that, to SOME people, games are art.

@Alchemistmerlin: Exactly what I was thinking - Kohlberg's first stage of moral development:

@DigitalPasture: A good thought, but isn't it equally plausible that, after a while, the women figure out that wearing these things gets them brutally beaten or murdered, so no one wears them anymore?

What a great collection - my favorites:

@wagedomain: I'd be interested in taking a look - any journal articles you could point me to?

@Mickets: If I'm really expected to apply sunscreen at the office in mid-January because of overhead lighting then, well, I guess I'm just destined to have skin cancer.

@Guitarzan2k5: I was bummed about the pricing until I read your comment about the iPad and realized that you're absolutely right. If two million people elect to spend $500 for the iPad as a toy, I can throw down $150 for something that could totally change my television/movie viewing experience.

@Orionsaint: The new one has a "Kinect Port" built in, which is essentially a proprietary USB port that carries more power.

@jizMondo: On the one hand, the Zune 80 can do component video out, so you gained a potentially useful feature (and obviously a bigger screen and 72GB of storage).

I'm excited about what this could mean:

@TheHeartless: I'm not trying to be antagonistic, just genuinely wondering - other than maybe video chat, what exactly have you ever used your Vision camera for?

@CassandraSays: Oh, I'm sorry - didn't realize you had a monopoly on sarcasm there.

@CassandraSays: Thanks to you, I now know what being a woman on Digg feels like.

@pixieradio: In several replies now I have stated that, yes, after others pointed out the author's intent of the term as sarcastic or ironic, I agreed and apologized for being overly sensitive.
