I didn’t say it wasn’t bizarre and crass (it is). I am just saying that the outrage feels kind of ridiculous. It’s an internal matter that is not for the public to police. Let HR decide if it is a problem, let his coworkers say something (to him or to their superiors). Why in the heck should we, the public, give a

I think it completely depends WHERE in Europe and in what country/context it is being worn. Even in some professional settings. The culture of each company is wildly different in the US and in Europe and people tend to have different ways to deal with things. Tech companies in Europe behave far differently than Banks

Do I think he is being crass and gross, yes. Still, if he isn’t running afoul of a dress code policy and if none of his co-workers seem to care, it’s really not OUR business to police it. That said, if a co-worker did complain to HR or if there was a company policy that said these sorts of outfits were improper, then

Meh... it’s a picture of breasts on a shirt. When I consider the fact that most Europeans are way less sensitive to such imagery and there are many non-native engineers at Google, it may not be a big deal. Was he looking to get a reaction from people? probably. Was he expressing himself? yes.

Am I the only one that finds this funny? I mean, historically our biases have been in the other direction in a big way. Especially when it came to facial recognition and things like that. It’s kind of funny to see it working in the opposite direction for once.

Does re-heating in a microwave kill the bacteria?

That is a foregone conclusion... Apple takes a piece of everything run in their ecosystem if they can. This will be no different if it is successful.

I was absolutely not suggesting that Netflix is wrong or that their strategy is flawed. I am suggesting that they would want Apple to pay them for the effort of supporting the device because it is a larger net benefit to Apple in the beginning than to Netflix. Crapping on the device is just a strategy because Apple

Translation: We want Apple to pay us to develop this app and we are going to crap on the vision pro until they pay us to mitigate our risk.

And now for the heavyweight matchup that nobody cares about at all...

I am assuming that the “x” in xitter is pronounced as an “sh”?

I think you would be able to immerse yourself just fine after a few minutes. He is an excellent voice actor and I think it will play well in the longer film.

I know... I thought that was pretty awesome

Dumbest choice ever. I have never seen a single car manufacturer create a compelling infotainment system (I am including Tesla in this group although it would be the closest to a usable one).

ChatGPT did great with that one:

I pay $20 a month and it’s unlimited as far as I can tell. I have generated tons of images just for kicks and I haven’t seen any extra charges.

I am really interested in setting up my own vpn servers and connecting to them in order to watch local programming in multiple areas and to get around the annoying limitations streaming services are putting on me to specify a “household” when I go from one state to another. Anybody have advice?

It is more a question of accessibility than anything else. Just like you can’t stick a windmill in just any location (you need to have locations that have sufficient wind power). With geothermal energy, the distance to drill, the types of rock that need to be drilled through, and the access to infrastructure to

One of my favorite crossovers of all time. It was both ridiculous and excellent at the same time. Especially when he just randomly finds a spiderman costume at a store in Germany.
