@Syrax: I'm thinking it's more this.
@DrewComments2.0: Crap, that pic didn't exactly resize the way I'd hoped and evidently you can't edit links. Let's try this one instead.
@Blue387: I think that would have to do with the 200C being a near identical (if slightly less interesting) copy of the Opel Insignia, on which this 9-5 is based.
@GV_Goat: I would disagree and say that they were pushed towards the mainstream kicking and screaming.
@UlimaGadison: I think I'd like to meet your Mom :-)
@IronicalBalls: This is one of the truly great TV offenses of all time. Every once in a while you'll see a gawdawful clip show of it on Speed (usually in November or something), but really, live Pikes Peak Hillclimb PLEASE!
@pauljones: Yes. In fact, I heard that the redesign was based on the script for Crank: High Voltage. The bean counters stole its heart, then made the Walter Da Silva chase them down while periodically electrocuting himself and having ideation sessions with random designers in order to create a car that was less bland…
@smalleyxb122: Exactly. In the end, it's really just figure skating in ricers - hard to master, pretty to watch, and not even close to a sport.
Why you should buy this car: You are legally blind so you won't be offended by the hideously awkward styling and you will only drive this car on weekends on dry lake beds so you won't be offended by its total lack of driving prowess.
I think it's great to do a biopic about Amelia Earhardt, but I have a strict "no Richard Gere" clause in my theater expenditures. Looks like I'll be adding this straight on my Netflix queue.
@Mobius_1000_Club: I want a 1/4 scale version on my front lawn. No neighborhood association, so just try to stop me!
@layabout returns: The photos suggest something pretty goddammed impressive, so this must be incredible "in de schteel"
I loves me a shooting brake, but I'm not so sure about what I'm seeing here - in either the spy shots or the game.
You want to work for Top Gear? Well la dee freakin' da. You know what you'll be doing on the production team for Top Gear?
@Dhillaz 2.0: I believe she invented it before Beyoncé could walk.
@cchannel: I saw that film in the theater. Worth. Every. Penny.
Elle MacPherson day on Jalopnik is a good day indeed.
@Alphamazing: Lack of line breaks are definitely a problem. It's like reading an email from my mother.
@I wanna get drunk, let me make it real clear...: I promoted that just for the shameless plugging of having a rabidly horny girlfriend in college.
