Law enforcement: “Distracted driving, is impaired driving!”
Me: “But look at my options!”

Indeed.

Just Carter?

You get all the stars. This trend is terrible as we’re too distracted by screens. It’s not enough we have cell phones we’re screwing with, but now we’ve got widescreens taking up large percentages of the dash.

I say we send Matthew McCona... McConaugh...
THIS GUY.

Yeah man, when I first bought the car, the headlights weren’t sealed properly and took on water. The dealer charged my CarMax warranty $6k to replace the two headlights and a control module, and they negotiated it down to $4500. I can only imagine what these new laser units cost. Crazy.

Bingo.

Driving new cars be like:

Seriously, they’re that expensive? JFC.

It’s pretty nice looking, but...

Yet another overly complicated system to add cost to the initial price of the vehicle and add cost to the repair bill when the system eventually fails. Instead of just replacing a $10 bulb, now you’ll have to replace a $500 adaptive headlight assembly. Screw that.

Maybe it’s just me, but the amount of people using high beams as regular headlights in CITY DRIVING seems to have gone through the roof over the last 5 years or so. I don’t understand how these people, who drive modern cars, can not notice that their brights are glaring in everyone’s face. Or maybe they just don’t

It’s not just the light outside, but also inside that makes a big difference, like in-dash led displays. I drive a 2002 vehicle and have no problem seeing at night with 20-year-old headlight technology...until some bro in a lifted truck passes me, then I can’t see shit for at least 10 seconds.

I like the idea of doing this, but the cab is too big, the engine has the wrong type of forced induction, no cladding around the base of the truck, where is the fabric tonneau?, not sure about the 4wd on this and holy crap on a stick that’s expensive.

The midgate truly was revolutionary when it came out. It still is. The downfall was that it requires a bit more user input than some people are willing to put in. The weather seals had to be kept clean; what did that mean? If you haul mulch/gravel/sand/etc, flip it down and clean it out with a rag to guarantee you
