Not wanting to use small, medium, and large doesn’t make sense to me, but whatever. If they’re insistent on using other terms, they would have been better off using something like device, print, and billboard. Or they could use screen, book, and banner. Even those are confusing, but they’re less confusing than micro,

I love this. It’s like I’m vicariously road tripping along with you.

But it malfunctions when I try to expand the image in my post here:

Micro is meant for smaller screens and lower resolutions, like what you might find on tablets and smartwatches. Meanwhile, Display evens out kerning for larger sizes, like a billboard, while Text is designed for “visually crowded environments.” (Ostensibly, something that’s very text heavy like a textbook or an

Updating the typeface isn’t that bad of a thing, but do you know what’s absolutely asinine? Calling the sizes micro, text, and display rather than just fucking small, medium, and large.

Here’s a reply so I can test.

Is it just me, or does clicking the little “+” icon in the top left corner of attached images now cause replies to that comment expand and collapse instead of showing the attached image at full size?

“Bye, Britain.”

Man I wish I could fly along on this plane just to experience it. That thing is cool as hell, and I find it fascinating.

3 minutes into your important presentation:

That’s awesome and all, but none of the halogen headlights in my truck have burned out yet in the 11 years that I’ve owned it so far. They work very well, and when they finally do burn out, they’re really cheap and easy to replace. They’re so cheap and easy in fact that I can just keep replacement bulbs in a box

...that’s just because you need a Stargate at both ends to make it fast.

Just as a point of comparison: My truck is 11 years old, and I bought it new in 2008. I’ve replaced the headlight assemblies (at the same time as a pair) a few years ago because one of them was holding moisture and I couldn’t get it to clear up. All four light bulbs in them still worked, though. The new headlight

I now know that I’m officially getting old because I am actually marginally angry that someone decided to say “I downloaded the Spider-Man app” instead of saying “I dropped my phone and cracked the screen like a klutz.”

Driving new cars be like:

Seriously, they’re that expensive? JFC.

It’s pretty nice looking, but...

Yet another overly complicated system to add cost to the initial price of the vehicle and add cost to the repair bill when the system eventually fails. Instead of just replacing a $10 bulb, now you’ll have to replace a $500 adaptive headlight assembly. Screw that.
