I have way less of an issue with a crazy expensive super car that hardly anyone owns then with a Tesla model S and 2.5sec to 60 given to the masses. Then the keys are handed over to so me one in the family with limited driving experience that then full throttles through the garage and into the house.

Wheel damage... is that curb damage that just needs some refinishing or will it actually cover your demolished pot hole wheel?

Uhm... GM started this back in the early 90's. It’s for fuel economy. It’s prob not on the small cars but the cars with big V8's and plenty of torque you need not worry about the coughing when going from 1-4. Not that I want or need a car that forces me to do it.
