honestly, the Hobbit movies killed any interest I have in more LOTR.

Yeah, it’s definitely the icky “funny Indian sidekick who talks funny” role, which is why it’s weird they made him the lead in the sequel.
Also, is it just me, or is it kinda fucking adorable that the guy went all “Ben Kingsley as Ghandi” method and traveled to India and studied Hindi and yoga for a part as the

DAMMIT!!!beat me to it.

‘It can’t be racist! There was a black guy in it!’

My great uncle downed a large number of German aircraft.

His cover of “I Put a Spell on You” was also quite effective in Lost Highway.

“What happened to Commander Taggart?”

They're friends in the book. And also children. You don't have to be a snowflake to think romanticizing their relationship is gross. You really just have to be a semi-decent human being.

Or Friday the 13th, The Series, an early 90s show that had absolutely nothing to do with the films. It was about a pawn shop that sold items, all of which were demonically possessed, and the owner’s descendants who tried to track them down. It was basically a quasi-anthology show, because the differing nature of each

Not going to lie, I’m not terribly good with names and didn’t watch That 70's Show so when I went looking for Teyonah Parris I searched DJR first thinking given the billing that’s who she was.  I’m completely blown away that she got that far up the billing and the only thing I can think of is that she had more screen

Back when Heroes was a big deal, there was a lot of dramatic tension as one of the masterminds behind the whole season was revealed to be a character played by Malcolm McDowell. Almost nobody (including me) knew who he was on a forum I visited at the time, so the big dramatic turn fell entirely flat for us.

If we’re not making room for hands down the best film in the series, by a large margin, then the machines have already won.

Debra Jo Rupp gets a starring credit for 5 minutes of screen time in the first episode and then casually appearing on the pre-Hex Westview reading a paper.  I’m guessing she’s the witness protection program person or Fietro make the most sense but that’s some truly powerful agent work to get her that if she’s nothing

If this had been announced a few years after I.G made Ghost in the Shell: Standalone Complex I would have been pretty excited. Seeing it announced a few years after I.G made Ghost in the Shell: Arise I am not as optimistic. Here’s hoping it doesn’t suck. If its the janky ass CGI anime that has become prevalent in

“Now I know why you kawaiiiiiii!!

CP being good (and I maintain it’s not) isn’t even part of it’s success, it sold millions in pre-orders. You don’t do that with quality, you do that with hype, and it was pretty much the most hyped game ever.

Nice.
