Just don’t get a Target card. Once you cross that line, it’s truly all over
When I try to explain to people why I hate The Catcher in the Rye so much, I am going to use this article to demonstrate that there are much better (and funnier) ways of writing the human condition.
As I was reading all of those highly irrelevant tangents I found myself thinking “how did we get here? The premise of this article is how this poor dude winds up inexplicably inside of a Target store and purchases things he hadn’t intended to...oh.” Well played.
red lobster is too expensive for how mediocre it is.
So, lemme get this right... This ‘outstanding, generous person’ thinks that a person celebrating their birthday should, not only have to ask their friends to celebrate with them, but cover each and every expense on their own birthday?
I’ve never been to a birthday or celebratory dinner among friends where it was not expected that everyone pays for their own tab. Sometimes we will buy a meal for a friend, to repay a favor or just because we want them to come with us if they couldn’t have afforded it otherwise. I’ve never been in a situation where…
This is a thing?
Either way, I’d rather expect to (and be comfortable with) paying my own way and be pleasantly surprised if that’s not necessary. Instead of being the person who’s pissed off they aren’t entitled to a free meal/beer.
I’m sorry, but WHO shows up to a restaurant celebration not expecting to pay for your own meal, unless you’re the guest of honor? If someone offers to pick up the bill for the entire party, that’s incredibly generous but definitely not expected!
This is pure foolishness. I guess this is why I do house parties. I buy the food and a few bottles and everyone has a great time. But to think someone is supposed to pay for you because they invited you out? C’mon son. Fake news.
I’ve been going off about that lady’s article since I saw it last night. I feel like she’s hiding behind “etiquette” just so she doesn’t have to pay for her own meals when she goes out with friends. If we’re dating and I invite you out, sure I expect to cover the whole check. But five or more of my friends?? Nigga for…
I’m glad to have it, but it scares the cats, one of them so badly that he vomits. Music critics!
Because it is an ethnoreligion. Ethnicity and race are not interchangeable and so you have to understand the difference. People use those terms incorrectly and that’s why they say they’re half Jewish. Ethnic identity can be tied to race but it’s not a requirement and that’s why terms like ethnoreligion exist.
Gay whites are still White gays. Women who are white, still White women. Oppressed a little, and in need of victimhood, they start pretending that they victims of the system too, and dismiss the idea that black LGBTQ people, Black women, are the ones REALLY hurting. Dan Savage, Yiannopolous, Clinton, whoever. They’re…
Dude, come on. Her future employment isn’t the topic of this article, the fact that she was handcuffed and thrown into a squad car as an 11 year old child is. Stop concern trolling.
This is what you chose to comment on? Her name, rather than what happened to her as an 11 year old child? WTF is wrong with you?
I’m only answering you because somebody already ungrayed you.
Wow! You totally didn’t get the point of that article about the rabbit! It has nothing to do with the rabbit, doofus, but everything to do with wypipo valuing the lives of just about every animal on the planet over black people. But then, in the case of Alabama, they’re begging for our support (while their cops shoot…
The “problem” with Tiffany’s role was it was apologetically black with no hint of magic negroness or straight coonery nor was she a criminal, cracked out, a slave, a bitter black woman until a helpless white woman comes along she has to save in spite of herself, co-dependent on a white woman to show her how to be a…
“As a southerner,” you just proved my point in under an hour.
