The whole benefit of a railgun is that a much smaller (less expensive) ship can fire a munition with as much energy as a 16" naval gun.

The main reason Battleships got so big was the need for larger and larger vessels to house larger and larger guns If the current railgun designs work as reported, each 16" gun can be

The GOP’s pennywise dollar-foolish, ignore all environmental standards for poor neighborhood shell game tricks can ALWAYS get worse.

I immediately thought of Dishonored trailer when I saw this list. I was totally impressed when I saw this trailer.

The P90 is an excellent PDW, but if you’re going to a gunfight, you take a real rifle. 5.7x28 has poor barrier penetration performance, isn’t good at long distances, and has lethality issues. 5.56x45, with modern ammunition, is a much better choice.

A coal mine caught fire beneath the town and never stopped burning. Hence why it’s so hazy. It’s based on the very real, equally terrifying Centralia! Though if you mean to say that you prefer the far more... unexplained air of the first two games, then can’t really help that.

They are worried about lowering standards, it has not happened, and it likely won’t work.

Amazing Game.

Obnoxious Horde of Naysayers Keen on Disparaging the Fanbase over the Actions of a Few.

FTFY.

I thought I would find overwhelming support for the advice offered to the first guy, but... I was wrong. Just because you’re in a relationship with someone doesn’t mean you get to authorize their platonic day-to-day interactions. Talking to people without your knowledge isn’t some cloak and dagger clandestine way to

I think that a lot of that stems from the fact that a lot (but not necessarily most) of the people who dislike Undertale hate it solely because, and I paraphrase, “the community made itself noticeable.” It can be pretty frustrating hearing someone claim something you like is terrible if they haven’t even bothered to

I can’t speak for you but when I first played it, and you had to walk to dungeons and level through zones, the game always felt massive.

That tweet is pretty much the only response needed to PA’s comic.

That should have absolutely been included so we could comment. I love PA, but that was easily the worst comic they’ve done, including the Dickwolves thing which I at least understood the joke they were attempting to make. Kotaku has incentives to destroy the gaming industry? They have incentives to publish accurate

Fahey’s response is perfect, and yeah, there isn’t much to say about a comic that totally misrepresents what actually happened here. At no point did we claim to “see lots of problems” with unannounced/unfinished games, and at no point did the developers tell us things that they wanted to keep secret; all of the

Sunday Comics is supposed to be a happy place, both for the readers and for me. I look forward to compiling this post every weekend, catching up on all of my favorite webcomics in the process.

Blizzard sues company for making money off a 3rd party software that’s against the Terms of Service.

Gameshark was for singleplayer gamers, so not a good comparison. If you want to cheat to high heaven in Fallout 4, go ahead, heck there’s a console engine for that. When you’re playing with other people it’s different, though.

Shouldn’t this hissyfit be in German?

This is a fantastic article on the complex relationship that exists between the developers of art and the people whose job is to review that art. Well written, well stated, A++++ would Kotaku again.

For as long as I’ve been building my own rigs, (started around 98 I think?) I’ve always tried to go with best bang for buck for the whole thing. I’ve gone with ATI/AMD for my last 3 builds and it’s been....an interesting relationship.

Only one type of block? Have you actually played Minecraft? You’re coming off almost as ignorant about Minecraft as Rubio, here. What about Redstone? Half Blocks? Stair blocks?
