Yes. All of this is what I tried to say, but was too lazy to type out. That’s a very good assessment of everything on the show.

How many times do I have to tell you people? Never be interesting to your doctor.

S2 was an improvement over S1, but that is damning with faint praise. Laroquette elevates the whole thing, Rausch is fine, Nyambi is an improvement over Talwalker, and the cast is playing less broad. We will keep watching, but it isn’t exactly appointment TV.

CBS’s older demographic might revolt if that happened. They are law and justice types*. They believe in punishing criminals. Unless of course, they pay off a pornstar they had sex with, lie about the value of their property, or try to overthrow the country.

TV snobs find these things dull and repetitive, but I think it is a huge achievement to run for 14 seasons when you only have 6 plots, all of which have been used dozens of times before on other shows.

I suppose it might be possible, but it would be really hard. I think you can still get paper tickets at the box office, but then you have to go there. I used to have a key fob that did 2 factor authentication, but it was only for one hospital. You would need a chain full of them now and a lot of places probably aren’t

It’s not worth your time unless you really enjoy farce without plot.

There’s no future in “dumb” phones. You can get by without a smart phone now, but it is getting more and more inconvenient to do so. For instance, the only way to pre purchase and use tickets to a major league baseball game is to have a smart phone to display them on via an app.  There is no “print at home” option

And yet, Texans keep voting for him.

This presupposes that one has thought about alpaca sex.

It sucks for everybody involved but it isn’t like he is going to be dining at Carbone’s tonight. This is just his NY conviction. He also was sentenced to 16 years in California and that still stands.

I would need much more information to even hazard a guess.

That’s a pretty specific “first.” I’ve definitely seen retinal mets from lung cancer and other solid tumors.

This is usually where I post my (very rough) rankings and (very brief) reviews of all the Hugo and nebula nominated novels.

Everybody seems to love this, but it just sounds like a retro 80's dance club hit to me. Like Depeche Mode’s “Blue Monday” or something.

This article understates just how difficult it is to do good research on schedule I drugs. It is next to impossible for a host of reasons.  Most of the research done on cannabis is not very good and that is the main reason why. Lots of positive studies get press and that helps some, but those studies are often fairly

The entire show should have been like that. That was the hook from the start, they just abandoned it.

The idea that it took all ST series a year was earned by TNG and DS9, but hasn’t really held true since then. Both shows took a year to find themselves.

I guess this is a spoiler, but it is hardly surprising. This movie has looked a lot like the original from 1968 based on the previous trailers and the twists in that one are so well known that The Simpsons made fun of them decades ago. I doubt they will go with “it was earth all along,” since it follows the Matt Reeve
