If you are talking about the large number of Chinese works nominated, that’s probably more a function of how the voting process works. Buying a voting membership lets you vote for two years. A lot of Chinese people bought voting memberships last year since Worldcon was in China, so they get to vote this year too.

Why make it difficult. You can long press on any notification which will bring up the option to turn it off, or modify it by going directly to it’s setting.
