The first two were successful enough that Messiah will get made. Whether it gets made well or by Villeneuve is another question and one that Legendary and Warner Bros are probably less interested in, which is a big part of the problem.

I appreciate the attempt, but not the result.

“Scare” is a bit of a hyperbole. I won’t say it is never fatal, but you literally have to ignore it for years, maybe decades, to die of it. It’s pretty easily treatable with a few different things and it basically never spreads to other organs.
