One of the many problems with the world today is that many people would rather be “right” than happy.

You can reverse sear a sausage.  You can even do it on the grill.  Low heat (about 300) for maybe 20 minutes, then high heat to get some char on the outside.  Works with gas grills, charcoal, or just an oven and a cast iron pan.

When someone brought them to the office I would eat one a few hours after it was made, and it would be ok, but it is nowhere near as good as a warm one from the store less than an hour old. The first time I had one fresh off the line it almost brought me to my knees. So, yeah. I’m with you.  I’m not buying them at any

Depends where you live. For instance, servers in Oregon will not be happy with this strategy.

There’s your problem. Those microwave vents are terrible. They are underpowered, not wide enough, and don’t actually vent - they just filter (poorly) and then throw the hot air right back at you.

I always like to check the itemized bill and make sure everything made it on there. Not because I think anybody is trying to cheat me, just because mistakes happen. In many places I’m not even getting one which requires me to remember everything we ordered, the prices, add it all up in my head, and apply taxes and

Last time I was called, it took all of 2 questions for one of the lawyers to kick me off after she found out I was a physician. They were “what kind” and “how many patients do you see each day." Then she said I was too busy to miss work and I

The motto of anybody sailing a pumpkin down the river is “never get out of the boat.” Because then they’d be out of their gourd.

“Are you more concerned about the protection of a painting, or the protection of our planet and people?”...

I’m thinking “salad dressing” is a euphemism.

I don’t live in SoCal, but I align with the rest and I doubt I could keep a straight face if a lawyer asked me what my views on scientology were.

Auditioning for a "Farscape" reboot.

28 year old boys are not really known for their communication skills either.

When Albertson and Safeway merged, most of the Dominick’s stores in Chicago became Jewel stores. You can definitely tell which are which. Dominick’s stores are bigger with wider aisles and better lighting, but the selection and prices between the two was always pretty similar.

Too many people read too many stories talking about the “fast growth” of the fake meat market sector and failed to remember that increasing the number of people eating it from two to six is 200% growth.

Car manufacturers make different cars to meet California emission standards, but it might be more difficult to set aside certain pigs. Smaller farms may not have the space to raise two different groups and if they can’t expand the facilities they would raise fewer pigs which increases costs further.
