There does seem to be some inconsistency in who gets stuck with the label; she does seem like a prime candidate for it, then again its a dumb term and any instance of it going away should be welcomed.

Pretty dire, not too much that seems very interesting.

Ehh, I’ll pass, seems a bit humorless and overly cgi’d and I’m not much of a Rock fan anyways.

Nothing like a Will Harris Random Roles!

Al I know is that in the ads I’ve seen for it, Tom Hardy seems to be doing some sort of weird voice that makes me laugh.

The proliferation of awkward sentences in AV Club articles is ridiculous these days. Hopefully the new management springs for a copy editor, because it seems like every other article here will have instances of really weird wording that makes what the author is saying hard to parse.

A lot of those are hockey/basketball arena’s which are more in the 20,000-ish seating range. Fox Theater is Detroit is 5,000, I think she’ll be fine, especially for a farewell tour.

The first time I saw the trailer I wasn’t paying very close attention and thought that was Stephen Root, I think the voice threw me off.

Calling Furiosa great seems like a bit of a stretch, especially if you consider that in their Mad Max movie ranking it was only 3 or 4 out of the 5 existing movies.

This is Trump’s true legacy, people just craft whatever narrative they feel like pushing, facts be damned. Not that this is an especially egregious example, but it is a much more common event in news reporting than you used to have.

I would say the same thing about “The White Lotus”, I don’t get the love, just a kind of trashy show that gets more notice than it would because it’s on HBO.

How annoying does Will Forte get in this? I like him...up to a point, but he can over do it. If it’s more restrained Forte I may check this out.

I really hate these reviews that come out a month and a half before the movie gets a wide release, and then it’s next to impossible to find when it’s actually relevant.

The only question I have is the quotes from the “UK based empowerment coach”. I mean, how is an “empowerment coach” qualified to talk about what are the best seasons of a television series? They should be in the comments like the rest of us idiots, not a source in an entertainment article.

I thought the Ghoul’s dinner scene was more of a nod to The Good, The Bad and The Ugly if anything, although that’s certainly something Tarantino ripped off.

I can see how dropping a series all at once makes it tough for websites/people that have to cover a series. When there’s a weekly format you can have the review and then maybe a few more detailed articles each week and it’s easier to make a lot more content over one season. When it’s like this they have to instead

It’s crazy how this story has blown up. They broke into college basketball to show her announcement live. I’m sure 75% of that audience either didn’t know or care.

I think I was a little too old for the original cartoon, I wanted something a little more mature, I wonder if my attitude might have softened towards it with time. Maybe that ship has sailed.

Does anybody care as much about Madame Web as the AV Club seems to?

When I was a delivery driver I came across a few roads like that (fortunately never train tracks), where they ran at a really strange angle to driveways/sideroads. I would always open my door and turn to look to make sure there wasn’t anything coming, gotta be situationally aware. Having said that, if you’re doing
