I'm sorry, but the majority of people, even in 'modern' capitalist country, can't afford healthy food and are forced to eat shit, that's how it works. I agree, the difference is that socialist ideology doesn't emphasize the creation of wealth but simply the improvement of society in general. For example one can be a scientist and do research by working for the state.
