That’s... not awful? It’s thematically close to my dream list changes would be needed to fix TRoS without doing to much to change the overall structure. Rey and Kylo really needed to be on parallel journeys.

Oooof. While Just Write is ultimately a lot kinder in their ultimate judgement of TRoS than I am, man do they really do yeoman’s work in detailing out the issues. I mean, stuff like the “people rushing everywhere”, and consequence free story events bugged the hell out of me, but I’d never have been able to describe

Strongly considering doing exactly that after the movie is out. Because I definitely have some more observations I’d love to explore.

Disney is notorious for not letting the prices of their movies drop (like at all) if you want to own them. Most Disney movies still cost $20 on blu ray. $69.99 / year is the equivalent of buying 3.5 Disney blu-rays per year. The main difference is that you’ll get ALL of this:

In its first year, Disney Plus will offer

So you are applying their 1990s sales strategy like they aren’t the biggest and most dominant content provider, ok...

What I’m quite worried about is this one day affecting “purchased” digital content on other platforms. For instance, if I’ve bought the Avengers films on iTunes or Amazon Prime Video, what’s to stop Disney turning round and saying “sorry, we’re completely removing these from other platforms now” - the whole “you don’t

Consider Disney outright owns, well, all of Disney, Star Wars, Marvel, The Simpsons, 20th Century Fox (Aliens franchise, etc.) - the list goes on. They won’t be licensing it from someone else. There will be no “leaving this month...” anymore.

With any luck the next book might be out by the time you finish the first ones. I’m super annoyed I’ve been waiting this long, but I spent so much time reading the first five that I will definitely read the last two. The books have appendices that explain who everyone is and maps, those are very helpful.

Bend the knee to Gwendolyn of House Christie, First of her Name, Slayer of Red Carpets, and Queen of the Best Dressed.

As a corollary, “I’ve seen it so it must be everywhere” isn’t a worthwhile argument, either!

Excluding the picture wouldn’t have made the story incomplete...excluding the picture would have made a powerful statement...there have have been several posts on Gawker sites that have done just that.

Help me out...correct me if I’m wrong, my takeaway is someone took a shot of a photo in the Knowles-Carter home that was meant to be private? If this is true, why are you reposting it?!?

Think about the term “guilty pleasure” and what’s often cited:  things women are “supposed” to like such as romantic comedies, pop music, chick lit.  Have you ever heard of anything masculine-coded as someone’s guilty pleasure?

The other day, my husband said to me, “I decided not to try to reason with you about buying Jagged Little Pill on vinyl and bought what was in our Amazon cart.” I gave him a pitying look and said, “It is an amazing album. You’ll see. You’ll see.

jjj — Wow. Just based on reading the first sentence of your comment, I see you’re a behavioral psychologist, geneticist, sociologist, a specialist in homosexual identity, and probably have published numerous papers in peer reviewed journals on PTSD-related sexual orientation after abuse.

fuck her and fuck that. I am so sorry that you’ve had to deal with that ongoing trauma

I’m a Survivor of several male pedophiles who abused me between ages 3 and 19.

I’m not sure if you’re a self hating Latino or what (which is a shame if so), but you’re not going to sit in here and disparage my people and get off scott free. I’m a proud African American who wishes to be NOTHING else. My people have endured and survived oppression, slavery and indignities for hundreds of years in

Yeeesss! Otherwise why was his “mind telling him no, but his body was saying yes”? 🤔

TR: I’m curious as to why you don’t think they should mute his music.
