A great way to enjoy eating on the cheap is to look at some of the ethnic cuisines, and shop at stores that cater to them. Both Asian and Mexican/South American in general are pretty affordable to eat. Rice, beans, some form of protein or tofu, tortillas (the real corn ones, not big flour ones). You can find free

I had the same idea... Only I mounted it to a piece of plexiglass and attached that to the wall mounting points on the TV. And in addition to the pi I also have a external HD and USB hub.

"It's these old homes, they're not quite square sometimes and they settle," I tell my fiancee every time this happens.

Great video. Once thing I would mention that is frequently overlooked is checking your level to make sure it's level. I don't know how many projects I've seen where a level had been handled roughly at some point, and was no longer accurate.

Original or not, he executes it perfectly and it is funny!

Can I just ask, why aren't we calling this a Dil-doh?

You can cut a rectangle into triangles :)

I save photos of my apartment that are marked up in Skitch to Evernote. The photos have measurements for when I decide to do some sort of home improvement they're there for me to pull-up when at IKEA, Home Depot, etc.

Instructables user earz_cd brings us this easy-to-make project. The iron itself is made from a brass cabinet knob. You'll need a Dremel-style tool with engraving bits and a file to create your brand and a few other common supplies to put it all together. Before you know it, you'll be branding everything in sight

Highly recommend that Anker battery. only downside is it takes 8 hours to charge. plus side? holds 4 charges or so. can't beat that for 70% off.

I couldn't really recommend that lightning key chain. I bought one a month or so ago, and it lasted about a week before it broke in half. I had to glue it back together. Another minor issue is that the lightning connector end seems a little loose to me.

You don't need to be a smart market investor to beat 3%-5% returns. You just need to by a few index funds and leave them alone.

Right, but I think the goal is to factor that into the spread. If you're in the 25% tax bracket and also itemize, then a 4% interest rate becomes an effective 3% interest rate, which makes investing relatively more beneficial.
