Dish Network, which sort of owns Sling, just concluded a big renegotiation with Turner Broadcasting (owner of almost everybody on the list except for Disney/ESPN) which featured many of the channels going dark for a couple of weeks. I have to wonder if this was part of the negotiations?
OTOH, it would be just as applicable a minute before Deep Impact hits. And I'm not going to watch it. Spoilers.
My son and I watched the entire game (except for the Citrus Bowl between periods, sorry Billy). Great game in every respect. I do agree that they should get rid of the other stadium games in favor of just this one.
But can I convert all distances into smoots?
Anyone who is in line for the throne has to spend time in the military, to be a believable commander-in-chief. And it's not a rubber-stamp, although I expect that there's more coaching available than the average grunt ever sees.

When my (work issued) iPhone 6 arrived in the mail, I took it out of the box and said, "I need to go to the store to buy a case". Looking around, I count three iPhones, eight Intel-based laptops (including two Acer netbooks that are mostly gathering dust) and just as many Nintendo-branded devices. The only network connected devices that…
My house, unfortunately, is not wired. However, I have been able to reap some of the benefits by placing my printers and NAS next to my router and connecting them with short "patch" cables. That ensures that anyone printing or using local storage is not double dipping the bandwidth.

So, we're talking about a factory to make giant glass Legos, then. I'm on board with that.
Just this weekend (at Archon 38), I starts thinking about belt making. Anyone have any ideads about how to make a roller to brand a repeatng pattern? How about attachng a soldering iron to an XY plotter for "fast" custom designs?
To hell with toilet paper, you want a bidet!
