Yep. Death Penalty is indeed about vengeance, more so than deterrence.

While I will always be adamantly against the death penalty. It’s cases like this that make me think there should be a few exceptions.

I’m anti-death penalty in general, so no. But I’m up for a Westerosi walk of shame down Wall Street (with them wearing barrels instead of naked).

They have no problem spending $250K-$500K to get their kid into college. But God forbid you want to increase their taxes by less than that amount to make sure everyone has access to college.

First thing Occupy Wall Street should have done in Zuccotti Park.  But we were so song and dumb, then.

It really stuck with everyone that I still know that took his class, even twenty years later. But I think he did it right because he didn’t pick who was in which caste, and we all learned the point very quickly. He was a really great teacher in general.

This shit has to be on purpose right? There have been like a half dozen stories of teachers doing this dumb shit in the last year and they still keep doing it. At least in my industry when someones does something stupid and gets public heat for it we all know not to repeat that mistake yet none of these teachers read…
