Not that we care about these types of things these days, but that Trump tweet is clearly promoting a book. If only we had a rule against that

Malice aforethought is not premeditation and the SC has ruled it can be formed in the blink of an eye. As a trained police officer, pointing her gun at someone, she would’ve known pulling the trigger was likely to cause death or great bodily harm, so pulling it formed the malice aforethought. Not that I think she’ll…
This seems like a pretty clear 2nd degree murder charge here. Doesn’t have to be premeditated, and there was nothing going on that should have brought up heat of passion and knocked it down to voluntary manslaughter.
They already do calculate if your return is reasonable. And if they disagree with your assessment, you still end up in a governmental appeals process
Surprisingly excellent camera work for twitter, particularly for a moving target
Any examples you care to share of people we don’t like who have been harassed?
The new standards don’t always require new cables, but 2.1 does. Probably not relevant for most TVs, even fairly new ones, but still something to consider going forward.

Edit, meant to go to figbash, sorry. Dang phones
How does that not make it worse? Statistically those people are just as likely as doomsday prepers to have one of their children accidentally shoot themselves with the gun. Some people might like to collect alligators, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t have reasonable regulations on those purchases.
The fact that something has happened to someone else doesn’t mean it’s not extremely unlikely to happen to you, nor does it validate taking precautions that are much more likely to cause harm than good.
I don’t know that it is a particularly thin line.
Buy protective measures like stronger locks and ensure that your local police force is well trained and educated because those are measures that statistically are likely to help protect you? Solid preventative measure.
Exactly. It’s much more accurate to say that for most of the people at this convention are “gun owner = prefers that dozens of children are shot rather than a few reasonable gun control measures get passed”
If he had pulled down the pants of a male classmate so that he could sexually assault that classmate? Sure, you have the right to defend yourself against assault
When I look at the website, it’s saying you only get 4 movies a month
I’m pretty sure the header caption is wrong; that’s Josh Gad. It’s unclear is Jesse Grant is an actual person, but google seems to think that Hollywood Reporter’s story on this used to mention him (although it doesn’t anymore).
I wish we wouldn’t. DACA is incredibly important, but a functional government should be able to pass a budget. If the Republicans were trying to pass a budget with ridiculous things in it, I would fully support refusing to pass it, but if it just is missing important policy matters, it should still pass. We shouldn’t…
