It’s got a single player campaign, co-op, and custom map support. If it’s good, it’ll last.
Someone needs to tell you that you’re being “that guy”, and no one likes “that guy”.
I grew up with a alcoholic parent, and at a very young age I remember promising myself I would never drink alcohol. And I never have. I have no judgement on those who do—I just know its not for me.
Don’t be the “Why aren’t you drinking?” guy at the bar who won’t let it go. There’s always one and he’s an asshole. Sample quotes:
I quit drinking about a year ago and have found that my desire to be around more than a few people at a time in a social setting went out the door with the booze. If I find myself in any kind of party setting, I just smoke a bunch of weed and make friends with the dog. Drunk people are the worst.
While I sympathize with your love of the unknown — I love surprises too! — this is a news outlet, and we don’t believe that reporting on news requires a spoiler warning. Sorry.
A good dog.
Um...no. They stole someone else’s art, straight up. Playing the “Aw shucks work sure is difficult!” card is not the right move.
Seriously, don’t make excuses for them...They could’ve taken art from their own past titles...
Real talk: do you think Capcom is smart to cater to you and other hardcore players? You say “Well, it’s for players like me...”, but do you think that’s the key to success? Do you think that perhaps Capcom would be better served appealing to the entire player base? They’re not exactly in the best state for franchises…
Every few days, I stream Mario Maker on Twitch, and sometimes people send me the levels they’ve made. I was not…
You and I have very different outlooks on this. I don’t know if it’s true that “people cheat all the time”, but if it is, then that really sucks for 50% of the population. (Unless you’re saying that literally everybody is cheating, which I don’t buy either.) Yes, a lot of people cheat on their significant others, but…
I’ve been cheated on, and had to break off an engagement because of it. I will never, under any circumstance, put up with cheating. Getting cheated on is such a miserable, soul-crushing thing to have happen. It murdered my self esteem for years. I know that may seem pretty dramatic, but it was terrible.
I think the thing is, you never get to decide for another person whether or not they’d “rather know” or “rather not.” I don’t know how I’d react if my partner told me he was cheating — whether I would want to work it out, whether I’d need a break, etc. I might be really unhappy knowing. But he doesn’t get to pick for…
Secret-keeping proponents counter that confessing only serves to lessen your guilt by putting the weight on your partner’s shoulders—it’s selfish in a different kind of way.
Can you show how Denuvo interfered with PC performance? I wasn’t able to find evidence of that, besides the old claim that SSD quality could be hit. So far as I know, that was actually found to be a problem with the game.
I liked Grantland and am looking forward to seeing what Simmons does with The Ringer. Say what you want about the guy’s own writing, but he hires good writers and lets them write good stuff without over-managing them. That’s something to celebrate.
Regardless of your feelings for Bill or his writing, he was able to put together one of the best teams and sites out there for sporting/social/cultural commentary, so I’d venture to say a fair amount of people are excited about this.
In 2008, Capcom released Street Fighter IV. I paid $80+ for the Collector’s Edition. In less than a year, it was obsolete when they released Super Street Fighter, which was completely incompatible with my original version, which quickly became a glorified drink coaster as players abandoned that version like the…
