I get where you’re going with this, but ticket and concession prices have not matched inflation numbers.  As an example, I had partial season tickets for an NHL team in 2004.  The price was $45.00 per ticket.  They are now $120.00, same seats, same package.

You can still bring outside food and beverages into the majority of MLB stadiums. It used to be all of them, but the rules are changing pretty dramatically. I went to County Stadium in the late 80s and was amazed at the number of coolers and outside snacks that were shared among the rows/sections. It was a fun time
