Actually the Irony is that someone had to actually sit there and create the masks as a way to not do work on the animations... Had they put as much time into the animations as they did the masks they would have had something passably animated.

You forgot to mention that the red rings of death are not stopped by walls or cover like they should be, and that the fireballs often times curve around walls and other objects to hit you behind cover.
