Don’t get the weird io9 commentariate hate for this movie. Is it the new cool thing to hate on Deadpool specifically, or is it because it is Marvel/Disney instead of Fox?

1) I hope we get more Wongers in this movie
Alien vs Superheroes don’t really interest me. The idea of matching up popular IP characters vs a Marvel/DC superhero is a dime a dozen, but a story pitch of Star Trek in the Alien world has my attention and I’m not even a Star Trek fan.
Meh, when they did Superman vs. Aliens, they had to go the standard trope of depowering Superman so that they could have a story.
Maybe I do not know enough about Xenomorphs but it seems like the Avengers would beat them real quick. like Super easy, barely an inconvenience.
The only way this could be any sillier is if they threw Winnie the Pooh and Steamboat Willie into the mix.
I saw it in theatres and I am generally a fan of the franchise... but it would be very hard even for me to describe “Muppets From Space” as an “essential sci-fi movie” -_-
Did he try parking it in rice overnight?
“Filed a ticket to get his truck rebooted.”
Don’t get it wet, don’t expose it to sunlight.
“Avatar area inspired by James Cameron’s World of Pandora.” Meh. Frozen, Tron, Encanto, and many more would be more enticing for me.
A good tailor knows how to measure twice and cut once.
Sisko is absolutely a black man in all that means. Don’t take that away from Sisko or Brooks or Benny.
I love Garak, and I love DS9 (best Trek series, IMO). Sisko and the Federation were by this point quite desperate, and when one is that desperate you go to plain, simple Garak for solutions.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone call Sisko an unhinged madman, and while Sisko may be African American his character has always seemed to me to be race neutral, like make Sisko a bald white guy and what exactly about his character would have to change? In my opinion, nothing. "In the Pale Moonlight" deserves all…
I would advise against watching Nope. I mean, it’s really not that great and very overhyped in my opinion.
Sorry, I don’t understand how Signs is on this list a movie like Dark City isn’t . Signs is a horrible movie.
I really see that with Stranger Things, where everyone binges it and by the time I eventually got around to a recent season, everyone else is in the stages of “Oh yeah, I forgot what happened, that aired like two months ago, dude”
I just said this to my wife recently about 3 Body Problem. We liked it, but it’s never going to reach the cultural mass appeal of something like Game of Thrones because it comes and goes same quickly. Same for Fallout.
I’m aware there is sarcasm here, but, sheesh... you guys got a lot of strange hate going on here.
