Meanwhile, I’m still trying to get to the alternate universe where Favreau is allowed to delay shooting on Iron Man 2 so that Emily Blunt can play Black Widow.

Didn’t find it boring. And yet, I’d rather be bored than annoyed.

And yet I’d rewatch Solo, which is more than I can say for the sequel trilogy.

General thoughts (largely avoiding The Joker “controversy” here)

1) 2019 was a great year for film, one of the best in recent memory. I absolutely adored many performances, films, scripts, and direction.

2) The Best Picture nominees are FANTASTIC. I have seen three of them already and have been planning on seeing five

There was a fallow period in the late 80s, but then Timothy Zahn’s Thrawn trilogy came out in the early ‘90s was actually good. People went nuts for microscopically-detailed new Star Wars stories and the EU started expanding exponentially.

I was a teen in the 90's and went to see the original films re-release because I’d never seen the films on the movie screen. It really made an impact because they were far more epic on a movie screen.

Might I add that there’s a lot to like about the Clone Wars and Rebels series. The lightsaber fights between Sidious and Maul (and his brother), Vader and Ahsoka, and Obiwan and Maul are truly excellent. And Rebels has Tom frickin’ Baker!

Expanse did this masterfully. They may not have been main characters, but the captain and Jim’s love interest were fully fleshed out characters in the first episode only to be unceremoniously blown away right at the end of it. Unlike them, Amos, Naomi and Alex, the characters we would grow to love, almost seem like

I always thought the best version of this was Red Dwarf- in the first episode, there’s an entire ship full of people, you’re starting to get back story, the captain seems interesting and you watch as he goes through the minutia of his day, including putting one minor character into cold storage for screwing up.

And

In movies, I’ve heard that Psycho was groundbreaking for this reason.

Keeping Poe alive had negative consequences on both sequels. Think how much both films could have benefitted if Finn and Poe’s story beats had been combined. They’re redundant characters and neither get a satisfying third arc, because there simply isn’t time for them with all the McGuffin hunting, but some better

At the time, the RNC didn’t like Trump any more than the DNC liked Bernie Sanders. But at least they were fair in the 2016 primary season.

But being raised in a castle does inhibit one’s ability to move to a ranch style home.

I don’t have global entry and they’ve been doing this to me for at least two years.

I have global entry so they already do this on entry to the country. As an aside, they upgraded the kiosks in the last couple of weeks and now you don’t have to scan your passport or enter fingerprints - the kiosk takes a picture and matches it your passport and flight details. And now you have to click to tel it to

I’m still waiting for new articles showing why Bill Cosby and R Kelly are actually the victims of white supremacy, which obviously caused them to do what they did.

WORD. Talk about click-bait.

Wtf does this have to do with jussie's lying ass, and how has he won exactly?

So a person gave their opinion when asked for unpopular opinions and people are this up in arms? I wonder how bad it would be if this was something that was actually important?
