A lot of this confusion is due to how this article is reported. LegalishEagle did the explanation that should have been done for the article itself. No one was “selling” anything. Heard’s attorneys released this information into the court record, and people later paid to download those publicly accessible records. I

So... sort of a Hot Tub Time Machine sort of vibe?

Thanks, very interesting reading.

Defunctland in particular is outstandingly well done.

Totally agree on The Imagineering Story. Both my wife and I were surprised how they just laid some negative stuff out there, but also gave great stories and info. Most of the rest of their “docu-tainment” seems to be a lot of fluff and silly edits.

But I say it “works” because, even if people joke about it, the show ran forever and was very popular. Same thing with Midsomer Murders. That show was so popular that even after the main character left, they just brought in his “cousin” (or something like that) so they could keep using the same last name and just kept

Saw this while traveling in London. Was shocked that it was a thing, but definitely interesting viewing. And definitely not as sexy as one would expect.

I think we have to just let the shark jump and accept it on the whole “how many murders can there realistically BE in this building”. It works just fine for Jessica Fletcher (as someone else has mentioned).

Or Midsomer, UK?

As for Loretta and Oliver, I never bought their chemistry. Both great actors, but I did not really buy them as a couple.

Yeah, it was not clear. I at first thought it was the Nanny, which fits with the theme of the guardian protecting the children. But that would mean that the killer wins in the end. So it might have been the Rudd’s character, and she kills him in the end.

More than likely, if it happens at all, it is a gag moment where she shows up for a moment or two and then moves on. Like you said, I doubt it is for a full supporting role.

Lindsay Ellis always does great work.

Well I literally just said “I am not saying it will not do well” implying that I fully understand that lots of other people DO like this sort of thing. I just don’t see it as interesting personally.

So far I am going with 2 killers. Donna in a fit of panic that failed to work out, and then Tobert actually killing him in anger.

Ehh, personally I think this season is an improvement over season 2. Season 1 is still my favorite.

To each there own, but I have never had any interest in seeing a concert in a movie theater. It just does not seem to be the same attraction as seeing the artist perform live. So I don’t see the hype for these (Swift or Beyonce) as being big drivers to “save theaters”. I am not saying it won’t do well, I just don’t

Been meaning to pick this up. Scalzi never disappoints.

Exactly. There is zero to be gained from dissing the production. The film WAS very well received in the end. If he says “They totally changed my vision and I am upset” most of the response would likely be “Well I loved the film, so it sounds like a good thing they did not listen to you.” And to be fair, it does not

Unrelated, but I just noticed a bit ago, has The Root gone permanently comment free like Deadspin?
