Or Midsomer, UK?

As for Loretta and Oliver, I never bought their chemistry. Both great actors, but I did not really buy them as a couple.

Yeah, it was not clear. I at first thought it was the Nanny, which fits with the theme of the guardian protecting the children. But that would mean that the killer wins in the end. So it might have been the Rudd’s character, and she kills him in the end.

Lindsay Ellis always does great work.

Well I literally just said “I am not saying it will not do well” implying that I fully understand that lots of other people DO like this sort of thing. I just don’t see it as interesting personally.

So far I am going with 2 killers. Donna in a fit of panic that failed to work out, and then Tobert actually killing him in anger.

Ehh, personally I think this season is an improvement over season 2. Season 1 is still my favorite.

To each there own, but I have never had any interest in seeing a concert in a movie theater. It just does not seem to be the same attraction as seeing the artist perform live. So I don’t see the hype for these (Swift or Beyonce) as being big drivers to “save theaters”. I am not saying it won’t do well, I just don’t

Been meaning to pick this up. Scalzi never disappoints.

Exactly. There is zero to be gained from dissing the production. The film WAS very well received in the end. If he says “They totally changed my vision and I am upset” most of the response would likely be “Well I loved the film, so it sounds like a good thing they did not listen to you.” And to be fair, it does not

Unrelated, but I just noticed a bit ago, has The Root gone permanently comment free like Deadspin?

Seriously, the west coast of the US has a 10-25% circumcision rate these days. Not because of rampant antisemitism in CA or WA, but mostly because a more liberal population is equating it more and more with an unnecessary medical procedure. That and the fact that so many guys in porn are uncut that it has probably

It is mostly a generational thing. In my day practically all guys were circumcised and you would stand out for not being so (if anyone noticed of course). But currently in the US the circumcision rate is around 50-60% on average, and the west coast is actually down to around 10-25%.

Also, I don’t really understand the Frasier thing. Don’t get me wrong, I think Frasier is probably one of the best written comedies of its era, if not ever. But it has been essentially two decades, no returning cast aside from Dr. Crane himself. People rarely catch lightning in a bottle twice, especially with an ensamb

You nailed my sentiments exactly. I like his stuff but this trailer leaves me completely disinterested.

Well ok then. Some great examples of a trope that I had zero idea even existed!

Yeah, Morty is pretty dead on. Rick is slightly less raspy/beltchy. But that is not a big deal and I am sure most would stop noticing after a bit if they really cared at all.

Don’t forget to add 65 to that recent list, although no Pascal.

Totally did not expect much from BR2049, and was really impressed with it when I finally got around to watching it recently.

Do you have many examples of this. I am not saying I don’t believe you, but that subgenre eludes me for the moment.
