I know. It was just a joke anyway. It sucks the one on the cover fell over though. I've never seen it even though I live here. I don't know when it fell, but I wonder if it was during one of our freak of nature storms. Joshua trees aren't really just supposed to fall over.

As someone from the actual Joshua Tree area, DON'T WORRY! We have more joshua trees in Joshua Tree.

Oh, come on. Not at all. Rich people come up with great ideas all the time! And I'm sure she meant well. But it's hypocritical in the way that she still makes a lot more money than, say, an inner city male school teacher. Maybe that's not fair because she herself is not a female inner city school teacher? But she was

Which he'll rap about in his next magnum opus, "Kanye Walks." It's a lyrical sequel, of sorts.

All the LGBT and race talk and we're forgetting one thing: This was a (probably certainly) fairly rich person whose only claim to actually being rich is by pretending to be other people saying there should be equal pay. What about equal pay to someone who has a far more significant and meaningful career than acting? I

I actually liked Late Night Snack quite a bit. I'm dismayed that it's been discontinued now. Fuck you, Jerry!

Wasn't there supposed to be some sort of new Farscape centering around Critchon and Aeryn's son a few years ago?

I'm sure this movie is going to be full of melodrama and will possibly be very hokey and all that, but it should get some praise for:

I got a big Donnie Darko vibe from this game. I don't think it'll quite (purposefully) get there all the way, but the montage of the characters at the end with the impending sense of doom looming over the town sure felt that way.

I think "All the Things…" and "Failsafe" are my least favorite songs on that album, but I wouldn't call "Unguided" or "Entering White Cecilia" dead zones. "Unguided" is probably the band at their most epic (if a bit repetitive), and "Entering White Cecilia" has all those lovely las and das.

Modded FFVII on PC can look okay, but… yeah. I am one of those fools that wants a full-on remake still. Sorry for not shutting up about it, Square Enix!

This one is so easy: The Neverending Story. I loved the book as a kid, and I think I loved it even more when I re-read it in my 20s. While the film certainly holds a nostalgic charm that a few fantasy films from the 80s might, it's still begging to be remade in the right way. Make it two parts. Make Bastian chubby at

I've only ever watched two animes in their entirety, sans the random Cowboy Bebop here and there: Steins;Gate and Baccano!. I thought both were very well done. I've actually listened to J. Michael Tatum, who wrote the localized script and did the lead character in Stein;s Gate talk about his work on the show, even

Ha, good old "Mother, May I Sleep With Danger?" I've always remembered that title, and looking it up on imdb, that turned out to be nearly 19 years ago now. I remember even back then thinking what a stupid title it was. Obviously, since I probably heard it once and it stuck with me forever since. 13/14-year-old me

Aivi Tran is doing music for a game I backed on Kickstarter, and quite awhile back the creator of the game had some twitch streams going of him playing various old video games. One night, he invited Aivi on the stream just to chat. At one point she started taking requests for things she would play on her keyboard.

I generally play my characters as goody two-shoes, but sometimes in Dragon Age: Inquisition I found myself changing how I responded based on who I was talking to. I always kept my Inquisitor honest, but I made him a bit more playful with Sera, or stalwart with Cassandra, or semi-earnest yet kinda jokey with Dorian.

Most gamers lost (read: killed) Wrex in the very first game, most likely because most people didn't know how to play the damn game and couldn't talk him down from going apeshit near the end of the game.

Well, I'm only guessing. He might spring up at some point, but I checked his imdb page and he's only credited for the first season right now, so… who knows?

I just finished watching Steins;Gate yesterday. It struck me as a much, MUCH better version of The Butterfly Effect. I've never really been big into anime, but that show was amazing and I kind of want to rewatch it already.

Man, this show. I wanted to like this show so much. The beginning of season 1 felt so much like watching Dead Space: The TV Show that I willed myself to enjoy it. But it did end up being a pretty sad excuse for a show, because just when you thought you saw a glimmer of something good about to happen, it… never did.
